We’ve got some exciting New Experiences at Goodwood Race Track, so check out the brilliant range now available at the UK’s no.1 Classic Car Driving Venue, including the current most popular choices!
As far as driving experiences go, Goodwood is right up there with the very best of UK Driving Venues. The history and motor sport tradition that surrounds the Chichester based circuit is evident throughout the grounds and track, and of course in the wonderful fleet of classic & supercars that you can drive there.
To celebrate the addition of some exciting new driving experiences at Goodwood, we shall take a look at why this is the enthusiast’s choice – and which experiences simply can’t be missed; including 7 new driving days from the track that hosts the annual and extremely popular Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Driving at Goodwood is an experience within itself, as the circuit incorporates over 60 years of motor sport heritage and success – both on two wheels and four – annually hosting events that attract hundreds of thousands of people, and providing top quality driving experiences for the public throughout the year.
The circuit is set in the most picturesque of countryside grounds on Goodwood Estate, and has received only a few minor tweaks and modernising touches since its birth in 1948. The 2.4mile track has seven turns and completely encapsulates Goodwood / Chichester Airport, adding a great spectacle to the track days as aeroplanes from this and many generations fly over.
Having recently ceased offering some fine classic car experiences including the Lamborghini Diablo and the popular ‘Classic Cars’ – Goodwood has now released some fantastic replacements, and we’re delighted to showcase these at Extreme Element.

The Gallardo experience has replaced the outgoing Diablo experience, and allows you to drive one of the most desirable cars on the market, driving in the 5.0L V10 ‘Baby Lambo’ that comes complete with 500bhp and a 0-60mph time of just 4 seconds! With expert tuition alongside you, you’ll drive three laps of the circuit in the Italian supercar that was named after the most famous breed of Fighting Bull.
Ferrari 360 at Goodwood – £145
Goodwood is well known for its classic car experiences, and with the Ferrari 308 & 355 a popular choice amongst enthusiasts – the Ferrari 360 caters for a slightly more modern market. Production on the 3.6L V8 ‘Prancing Horse’ only commenced in 2005 to make way for its F430 successor, ensuring the 360 remains a modern choice. As with most Goodwood experiences, you’ll get 3 laps of the circuit with an instructor present, driving in the much lauded F360.
The AMV8 experience has replaced the majestic Aston Martin Vanquish experience, bringing a new age of the British built supercars to Goodwood. With the classic DB4 available as part of the British Classics (below), the 4.3L V8 AMV8 is a new breed in comparison, and offers a superb combination of power & performance with the elegance & luxury associated with the car company that was established in 1913. Here, you can drive 3 laps of Goodwood in the AMV8 and enjoy a quintessentially British experience, combining two staples of British motor sport!
Classic GT Cars at Goodwood – £269
With the removal of the ‘Classic Cars Experience’, Goodwood now offers two fantastic experiences in its place – the British Classics and this; the Classic GTs experience. “The only thing wrong with this experience was i could not drive the car home afterwards!!!”
Mike G – Ferrari 308

Unique to Goodwood:
Goodwood Festival of Speed – The annual Hill Climb Festival is held in early June and attracts petrol-heads from all over the world, showcasing everything from soap box racing to Formula One – the festival had over 176,000 visitors spread over 4 days in 2010. ‘FoS’ was initially founded in 1993 to bring racing back to Goodwood, avoiding permit issues – and the rest is, as they say ‘history’.
Goodwood Revival – 3 day festival in Sept for cars that would have competed during the original circuit’s era, of 1950s-1960’s. ‘Relives the Glory of Goodwood Motor Racing Circuit’ – when it ranked alongside Silverstone and hosted F1 and the Goodwood Nine Hour Race & Tourist Trophy.
